After
the success of a wide range of animated movies in recent years such as: Tangled,
Wreck-It Ralph, The Princess and the Frog, in the winter of 2013 Disney
introduced a great movie named Frozen. After a short time after release, Frozen
has been one of Disney’s biggest success stories, raking in over $1bn at the
box office (highest-grossing animated film ever, the former record belongs to
“Toy Story 3”), winning two Oscars for the Best Animated Feature Film and Best
Original Song for "Let It Go” which is performed by Idina Menzel in the
film and written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
The
film is a great story of the two sisters: Elsa and Anna in the kingdom of Arendelle. Elsa have magical power that
may turn everything to snow, ice with her hand. This icy power seem to be
stronger everyday. Once playing together when they are small kids, Elsa’s power
was out of control and almost killed her little sister Anna by accident. Anna
has been cured but the memory about Elsa removed from her mind. After that, the
King and the Queen seal the castle gates, Elsa lived alone in her room,
completely isolated with the outside to learn how to keep her powers and
emotions in control. Elsa also do not want hurt any one, she stay away from the
beloved one and also the world. Unfortunately, the King and the Queen passed
away in a storm on the sea. The kingdom prepared for Elsa’s coronation. Also in
this time, Anna met and fallen in love with handsome prince of the southern
isles: Prince Hans. They wishes to get married, Elsa refuse the wish. Then the
two sisters argue that make Elsa lose the control of the icy power. All the guests
in the party were really afraid of Elsa, then she flee the kingdom, go to the
snowy mountain to build a icy palace for her own.
A
story continued with the appearance of new characters such as the kind ice
seller Kristoff, his company Sven and the lovey snowman made by Elsa named
Olaf.
